63° International Choral
Singing Competition​

The Associazione Corale Goriziana “C. A. Seghizzi” is proud to present the 63rd edition of the “Seghizzi” International Choral Singing Competition, which will take place in Gorizia from 9 to 13 July 2026.

Following the strong participation and success of the previous edition, the competition returns with updated regulations and the unchanged aim of fostering a high-level contest, conducted in a fair and respectful spirit, and dedicated to friendship and cultural exchange among choirs.

The deadline for submitting applications is set at midnight on 28 February 2026.

Due to logistical reasons, the organising committee reserves the right to change the venue and the timetable for categories 1a, 1b, 2a, 2b, 3, 4 and 5. New venues will still be within the city of Gorizia.

Internationally acclaimed soprano, teacher and Head of the Vocal Department at the Royal Academy of Music in Copenhagen.

Pierangelo Conte

Artistic Director of the Teatro Carlo Felice Foundation in Genoa.

Gabriele Ribis

Internationally acclaimed baritone, Artistic Director of the Piccolo Opera Festival of Friuli-Venezia Giulia.

Eddi De Nadai

Pianist and conductor, specialist in Lieder repertoire, Artistic Director of the “Seghizzi” International Chamber Singing Competition in Gorizia.

Awarded the Medal of the
Presidency of the Republic

In 2025, the international activities promoted by the Associazione Corale Goriziana C. A. Seghizzi were awarded the Medal of the President of the Italian Republic, granted to initiatives of particular cultural significance.
