On Saturday, November 4, 2023, at 6:00 PM in an online session, the Jury of the 21st International Choral and Vocal Composition Competition “Seghizzi” 2023 convened. The Jury comprised President Pietro Ferrario (Italy) and musicians Eugeniusz Kus (Poland), Claudio Ferrara (Italy), Nana Forte (Slovenia), Z. Randall Stroope (USA).

After considering the individual evaluations made on the received scores and engaging in in-depth discussions, the Jury selected the following compositions:

Section A – Choral compositions to be included in the Regulations of the 61st International Choral Singing Competition “Seghizzi” 2024

HOPE – Paolo Orlandi (Italia)

RIMANGO SOL – Aurélien Hallopeau (Francia)

SURGE AMICA MEA, ET VENI – Aurélien Hallopeau (Francia)

VIEN DUNQUE, AMOR – Roberto Brisotto (Italia)

The International Choral Composition Trophy “Seghizzi” 2023 and the cash prize of €1,000 were awarded to 𝐌° 𝐏𝐚𝐨𝐥𝐨 𝐎𝐫𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢 for his composition “Hope.”

Section B – Compositions for solo voice with piano accompaniment to be included in the Regulations of the 21st International Chamber Singing Competition “Seghizzi” 2024

QU’UN ARBRE M’OMBRAGE EN LIEU D’UN MARBRE – Aurélien Hallopeau (Francia)

ELEGIA – Paolo Orlandi (Italia)

The International Vocal Composition Trophy “Seghizzi” 2023  and the cash prize of €1,000 were awarded to 𝐌° 𝐀𝐮𝐫𝐞́𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧 𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐮 for his composition “QU’UN ARBRE M’OMBRAGE EN LIEU D’UN MARBRE”.
