Ritorna il bel canto a Gorizia

Si svolgeranno fra il 12 e 18 luglio p.v., sotto il patrocinio della Camera dei Deputati, le manifestazioni internazionali Seghizzi 2022, che vedono la partecipazione di cantanti e gruppi di alto livello provenienti un po’ da tutto il mondo, nel nome della musica vista come mezzo di comunione fra i popoli, capace di valicare ogni confine geografico e temporale nel segno di una auspicata e rinnovata fratellanza.

The international events Seghizzi 2022 will take place from July 12th to 18th, under the patronage of the Chamber of Deputies. The events feature the participation of high-level singers and groups from around the world, in the name of music as a means of communion among peoples, capable of crossing every geographical and temporal boundary in the spirit of a hoped-for and renewed brotherhood.

In particolare, il 19° Concorso internazionale di canto cameristico – con accompagnamento al pianoforte – prevede l’esibizione di cantanti provenienti da Austria, Indonesia, Italia, Russia e Slovenia, che si confronteranno al cospetto di un’autorevole giuria internazionale presieduta dal M° Eddi De Nadai (Italia) e composta da Berndt Valentin (Germania), Malin Hartelius (Svezia), Sara Mingardo e Cristian Carrara (Italia), proponendo per la prima volta alcune liriche, risalenti a fine ‘800, scritte dallo stesso Augusto Cesare Seghizzi e trascritte per l’occasione dal M° Elia Macrì.

In particular, the 19th International Chamber Singing Competition – with piano accompaniment – will showcase singers from Austria, Indonesia, Italy, Russia, and Slovenia, who will compete before an authoritative international jury chaired by Maestro Eddi De Nadai (Italy) and composed of Berndt Valentin (Germany), Malin Hartelius (Sweden), Sara Mingardo, and Cristian Carrara (Italy). For the first time, the competition will present some lyrics from the late 19th century, written by Augusto Cesare Seghizzi himself and transcribed for the occasion by Maestro Elia Macrì.

L’appuntamento col bel canto lirico è per il 12 e 13 luglio, dalle ore 14.00, presso la sala concerti Seghizzi in corso Verdi 85, con il concerto dei vincitori nella giornata di mercoledì 13 luglio alle ore 21.00.

The appointment with lyrical bel canto is on July 12th and 13th, from 2:00 PM, at the Seghizzi concert hall in Corso Verdi 85, with the winners’ concert on Wednesday, July 13th, at 9:00 PM.

Grande attesa anche per il 59° Concorso internazionale di canto corale, che prenderà il via il 14 luglio con la presentazione dei gruppi corali alla stampa ed alle autorità, per entrare poi nel vivo della competizione con le esibizioni del 15, 16 e 17 presso il teatro G. Verdi di Gorizia, a partire dalle ore 14.00, sino alle premiazioni e al concerto finale dei cori vincitori domenica alle ore 20.45.

There is also great anticipation for the 59th International Choral Singing Competition, which will start on July 14th with the presentation of the choral groups to the press and authorities, and then move on to the heart of the competition with performances on the 15th, 16th, and 17th at the G. Verdi Theater in Gorizia, starting at 2:00 PM, until the awards ceremony and the final concert of the winning choirs on Sunday at 8:45 PM.

I gruppi partecipanti provengono da Italia, Polonia, Filippine, Ucraina e Ungheria, nazione rappresentata da un complesso numericamente davvero ragguardevole con ben 119 giovani elementi: le loro performance verranno valutate da una giuria internazionale di gran prestigio presieduta dal M° E. Kus (Polonia) e composta da Bozidar Crnjanski (Serbia), Alexei Shamritsky (Ucraina), Maurizio Sacquegna e Andrea Venturini (Italia).

The participating groups come from Italy, Poland, the Philippines, Ukraine, and Hungary, a country represented by a truly remarkable ensemble with 119 young members: their performances will be evaluated by a prestigious international jury chaired by Maestro E. Kus (Poland) and composed of Bozidar Crnjanski (Serbia), Alexei Shamritsky (Ukraine), Maurizio Sacquegna, and Andrea Venturini (Italy).

A corollario del concorso, il 18° Festival Musicale Internazionale Seghizzinregione con concerti itineranti in varie località della regione, del vicino Veneto e della Slovenia.

As a complement to the competition, the 18th International Music Festival Seghizzinregione with itinerant concerts in various locations in the region, the neighboring Veneto, and Slovenia.

Tutte le manifestazioni, esibizioni e concerti di premiazione, sono aperte al pubblico e ad ingresso libero, anche al fine di favorire una larga partecipazione della cittadinanza ad un evento che l’Associazione Seghizzi organizza da decenni con grande impegno ed entusiasmo, promuovendo tutta una serie di incontri, collaborazioni e scambi musicali e culturali con paesi di tutto il mondo, capaci di superare grazie al potere travolgente delle note, gli ineluttabili dissidi del momento storico cui stiamo assistendo.

All events, performances, and award concerts are open to the public and free of charge, with the aim of encouraging widespread participation from the public in an event that the Seghizzi Association has been organizing for decades with great dedication and enthusiasm. The association promotes a series of meetings, collaborations, and musical and cultural exchanges with countries around the world, capable of overcoming, thanks to the overwhelming power of the notes, the inevitable conflicts of the historical moment we are witnessing.”
